Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CDL Truck Driver to join our team at Republic Services. As a CDL Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a collection truck and providing prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a heavy truck along a designated route and to the disposal site, ensuring adherence to all applicable safety standards and policies.
  • Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order.
  • Load and unload refuse, operate a compactor, and dispose of collected material at the designated facility.
  • Clean area around accidental waste spills and ensure adherence to all applicable safety standards and policies.
Requirements
  • Class B or higher Commercial Driver's license with air brakes endorsement.
  • Ability to adhere to Company policies and rules set forth, and does not take inappropriate risks.
