Grain Operations Manager

CHS Inc. is a leading global agribusiness seeking a skilled Operations Manager to oversee daily operations and enforce safety protocols at two locations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for agriculture.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee operations at multiple locations, evaluating and communicating results to stakeholders.
- Manage operations to provide patrons with prompt, courteous, and effective service while maintaining efficiency and maximizing profit.
- Develop and implement procedures and controls to promote communication and information flow within the organization.
- Manage budgets, including operating, capital, and lease budgets.
- Lead and develop a team of employees, providing training, clear job assignments, and effective performance management.
- Develop and recommend product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategies to achieve market share goals.
- Oversee inventory management and ensure accurate accounting.
- Maintain a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
- High School diploma or GED
- 4+ years of experience in Operations and/or Business Operations
- Prior leadership experience with progressively advancing level of leadership responsibilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Previous Agribusiness/Location management or Grain Sales experience
- Ability to motivate and lead team members
