We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team, who is passionate about delivering patient-centered care and committed to excellence in the circulating or scrub role.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the instrument and equipment set-up for the OR, ensuring safe and effective nursing care.
- Coordinate and oversee the room during a case as the circulator, facilitating efficient transitions between procedures.
- Utilize appropriate body mechanics to prevent injury when moving patients to stretchers and OR tables.
- Manage patient care and medication, including assistance with anesthesia.
- Consistently review charts for completeness, in accordance with documentation protocols.
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an operating room setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center.
- Active RN license and valid BCLS Certification upon employment.
- ACLS certification as required by the facility.
- CNOR certification is preferred.
