Position Overview

MedicalPeople Staffing, LLC is in search of a traveling Interventional Radiology Technologist for an exciting opportunity.

Role Responsibilities
  • Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist

The selected candidate will engage in a 13-week contract with a typical schedule of five 8-hour shifts during the day, although the facility may accommodate four 10-hour shifts. Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and instructing patients for examinations while assisting the Radiologist during procedures.
  • Exhibiting proficiency in the operation of all necessary equipment and promptly reporting any malfunctions to the supervisor.
  • Completing all assigned tasks efficiently and utilizing downtime to assist colleagues or facilitate room turnover.
  • Providing coverage for various vascular surgery cases.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience
  • A valid New York Tech License
  • Vascular Interventional Radiology (VIR) certification

This position offers a competitive pay package based on a standard 40-hour workweek, with a tax-free stipend to be determined.
