The Maxwell Group is a leading provider of senior care services, with a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant - Med Tech to join our team at Homestead Hills in North Carolina.
About the JobThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate individual to work as a Med Tech and CNA in our 48-bed Assisted Living and 18-bed Memory Care community. As a member of our team, you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our residents and their families.
Job Responsibilities- Patient Care Services: Provide direct patient care services, including assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, transporting, and transfers.
- Dining Assistance: Assist residents with dining, including escorting, transferring, order taking, serving, feeding, meal preparation, and clean up.
- Housekeeping Services: Assist with housekeeping services, including bed making, trash removal, laundry, room and bathroom cleaning as needed, and requests from residents.
- Lifelong Learning Opportunities: Participate in life enrichment activities, including activities, craft/game groups, life skills, daily pleasures, and one-on-one interaction.
- Vital Signs and Medication Administration: Take and record vital signs and weights as ordered or required by regulations, and administer prescription medications at the appropriate times for assigned units during shift.
- Certification: State Certification as a Nursing Assistant and Med Tech.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years' experience in a similar healthcare position preferred.
- Skills and Qualifications: Ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently, ability to meet or exceed the company's attendance and punctuality standards, and ability to use Electronic Records and miscellaneous software and office equipment.
The estimated salary for this role is $38,000 - $42,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
