Ecological Restoration Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ecological Field Technician II to join our team at MNL. As a key member of our restoration team, you will be responsible for leading and executing various ecological restoration projects, including site preparation, seeding, planting, and equipment operation.

• Lead and execute ecological restoration projects, including site preparation, seeding, planting, and equipment operation.
• Conduct daily safety talks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Operate and maintain equipment, including trucks, trailers, and small machinery.
• Train and supervise less experienced employees on equipment operation and restoration techniques.
• Review and execute restoration plans provided by construction managers.
• Calibrate sprayers and seeders to ensure accurate rates.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of daily activities and work logs.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting other departments and locations within MNL.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in ecological restoration, conservation, or a related field.
• CDL license a plus.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Physical ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.
