We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ecological Field Technician II to join our team at MNL. As a key member of our restoration team, you will be responsible for leading and executing various ecological restoration projects, including site preparation, seeding, planting, and equipment operation.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and execute ecological restoration projects, including site preparation, seeding, planting, and equipment operation.
- Conduct daily safety talks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Operate and maintain equipment, including trucks, trailers, and small machinery.
- Train and supervise less experienced employees on equipment operation and restoration techniques.
- Review and execute restoration plans provided by construction managers.
- Calibrate sprayers and seeders to ensure accurate rates.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of daily activities and work logs.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting other departments and locations within MNL.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in ecological restoration, conservation, or a related field.
- CDL license a plus.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Physical ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.
