Oncology Nurse Manager

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Oncology Nurse Manager to lead our Radiation Oncology team. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for coordinating and expediting clinical operations, ensuring an exceptional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and expedite clinical operations, including directing, delegating, and monitoring quality of care delivered by the healthcare team.
- Function within and across interdisciplinary teams to promote coordination, mutual respect, and timely response to patient healthcare needs.
- Recognize the impact of systems on healthcare delivery and facilitate development of workflows and pathways to ensure coordination of care across all settings.
- Facilitate huddles, promote and model effective, respectful communication, and utilize critical thinking to problem-solve and make decisions.
- Identify and evaluate operational clinical needs and resolve concerns early, role-modeling and facilitating change within the healthcare team to respond to emerging practice and organizational needs.
- Manage all resources to support optimal care of patients seeking primary care services in the clinic, telephonically, and electronically.
- Model and promote healthcare team building and leadership skills, applying leadership skills to facilitate effective team functioning and operations of the department.
- Graduated from an approved school of nursing.
- BSN required; MSN preferred.
- Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Massachusetts.
- 5 years of Oncology nursing experience required.
- Leadership experience required (e.g., charge, NIC).
- 5 years of Radiation Oncology nursing experience preferred.
- Pediatric Radiation Oncology experience preferred.
- Procedural experience preferred.
