CDL Driver Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CDL driver to join our team at Henry Industries. As a company CDL driver, you will enjoy the freedom and benefits of being a valued employee with the stability and support of a reliable transportation company.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean driving record and abide by all Federal DOT, FMCSA, and State guidelines.
  • Follow all FMCSA and DOT rules and regulations, and provide leadership and knowledge of position.
  • Maintain and accurately complete all required documentation, including daily driver logs, post trip inspection reports, and driver trip reports.
  • Follow written and oral instructions, and the ability to work overtime when needed.
  • Communicate with management, staff, and supervisors within a given department.
  • Ability to be a self-starter and utilize daily hours effectively.
  • Follow designated route and arrive at destination(s) in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance, and be courteous and professional to customers and staff at all times.
Qualifications:
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional truck driver.
  • Ability to operate a semi-truck safely and navigate various routes and terrains.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Reliable and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
