Job Title: Senior Retail Sales Associate

AutoZone is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Senior Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a Senior Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for driving sales through exceptional customer service, exceeding customer expectations, and providing a WOW Customer Service experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for every customer.
  • Operate cash registers and follow established cash handling procedures to ensure accurate and efficient transactions.
  • Follow company policies and loss prevention procedures to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store appearance, adhering to merchandising standards and ensuring merchandise is restocked and placed in designated areas.
  • Utilize ZNET to assist customers in locating merchandise or finding suitable alternatives.
  • Maintain product knowledge and stay up-to-date on current promotions through AutoZone systems and information sources.
  • Practice GOTTChA and assist with the installation of wipers blades, batteries, and light bulbs.
  • Utilize OBDII to read codes from customers' automobiles and diagnose problems to recommend solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with managers regarding customer concerns and employee matters.
  • Actively engage in developing more effective customer service skills and provide honest and trustworthy advice to customers.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including holidays, evenings, and weekend shifts.
