Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse

Join Cynet Health as a Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse and take on a challenging role in our Cardiac Services department. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in Cardiac Cath Lab Services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment within the unit.
  • Promote teamwork with physicians and personnel from other departments.
  • Perform circulating, scrubbing, and hemodynamic monitoring duties during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, interventional radiology procedures, and holding area procedures.
  • Provide nursing care support using clinical knowledge, technical skills, and professional judgment according to departmental standards and protocols.
  • Deliver care, assessment, and instruction to patients before, during, and after procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain pertinent procedural information.
  • Participate in department-specific training and orientation programs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years nursing experience in cardiac cath or interventional radiology.
  • Current Registered Nurse license.
  • CPR certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • ACLS certification through AHA upon hire.
  • PALS or ENPC certification through AHA within six months of hire.
  • Graduate of a school of nursing.
  • Experience with EPIC charting.
  • Ability to use radiographic equipment as requested or assigned.
  • 12-Lead EKG interpretation.
  • Physiologic monitoring (intracardiac pressure waveform knowledge).
  • Pacemaker operations (implantable and external).

Please note that the nurse-to-patient ratio and other specific unit details will be determined upon the start of the new service. Dress code requires wearing scrubs. Regular and supplemental staff will complete a service partner orientation, along with department-specific orientation. This is part of a new service line.
