Pediatric Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing exceptional care to students in the Sycamore, Illinois school district.

This 13-week local contract position offers the opportunity to work with children of varying ages and abilities, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans to promote physical, emotional, and cognitive growth.

As an occupational therapist, you will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team, including teachers, administrators, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive support for each student's unique needs.

• Evaluating students to identify areas of need and determine eligibility for occupational therapy services
• Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans, incorporating a range of strategies and techniques to promote student progress
• Maintaining accurate records and data on student progress, monitoring goals and outcomes
• Communicating effectively with parents, educators, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and support

• Illinois Occupational Therapist License
• American Heart Association BLS Certification
• Prior experience working with pediatrics or in a school setting is preferred but not required
