Job Summary:

The Aircraft Maintenance Coordinator will provide around-the-clock on-call maintenance coordination and oversight for 5 assigned aircraft from the Part 135 Charter Fleet. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support flight crews with on-the-road maintenance support via phone, text, and email
  • Communicate with maintenance vendors remotely via phone, text, and email to return aircraft to service
  • Assist the Director of Maintenance with scheduled and maintenance planning
  • Assist with performing onsite and remote vendor audits
  • Work flexible/extended hours with short-notice schedule changes
Requirements:
  • Three (3) years proven experience in a similar position
  • A&P Certification preferred
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and understand technical procedures and governmental regulations
  • Ability to effectively present information to and respond to questions from management, dispatch, crew, air traffic control, and the general public

Work Environment:

This position requires the ability to work near moving mechanical parts on a limited basis. The noise level may be loud, and the use of a headset is required. Willingness to adapt to a varied schedule, including holidays, early morning, nights, overnights, and weekends.

Physical Demands:
  • Able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, squat, and/or crawl
  • Able to sit without standing for long periods of time
  • Capable of lifting or moving items at different heights weighing up to 75 pounds
Travel:

Some travel will be required depending on aircraft status and proximity to your location.
