As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Progressive Care Unit, ensuring high-quality patient care and exceptional patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the daily function and staffing of the Progressive Care Unit, ensuring adequate staffing levels and optimal patient care.
- Monitor and evaluate the provision of nursing care, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes, working closely with interdisciplinary teams.
- Manage admissions and discharge processes, ensuring efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
- Facilitate effective interdisciplinary care coordination within and across departments.
- Ensure staff with appropriate clinical competencies are assigned to meet patient care needs.
- Manage nursing practice and unit operations, ensuring adherence to standards of care.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Advanced Trauma Care for Nurse, or Trauma Care After Resuscitation, or Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
