Onsite Quality Control/Safety Specialist

Adams Contracting, LLC is seeking an experienced Onsite Quality Control/Safety Coordinator to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and regulations, including EM 385-1-1, while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure construction work meets USACE standards, project specifications, and contract requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain quality standards across all stages of construction.
- Verify materials and workmanship meet or exceed contract expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Document and report any deviations from quality standards and propose corrective actions.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures in compliance with USACE's EM 385-1-1, OSHA, DOT, and company standards.
- Coordinate and conduct safety training programs for employees and subcontractors.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in construction quality control and safety management, with specific experience on U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) projects.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and USACE EM 385-1-1 safety and health standards.
- Certification in Construction Quality Management (CQM) from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
- Certification in 24-Hour Fall Protection from USACE.
- Understanding and experience reviewing and analyzing P6 Primavera Scheduling and USACE RMS software.
- Certification in OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety or equivalent.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with project teams, clients, and inspectors.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.
