Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the accuracy and safety of medication dispensing, and promoting health education and wellness initiatives within our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including medication therapy management, immunizations, and health education
  • Ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications, adhering to regulatory guidelines and company policies
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to promote patient-centered care and improve health outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices
  • Model and promote a culture of patient safety, respect, and empathy within the pharmacy team
Requirements
  • PharmD degree or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • Current pharmacy license in good standing
  • Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
