Key Responsibilities
Primary Duties
- Conduct the design, analysis, or assessment of assigned projects utilizing sound engineering principles while adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program specifications. This role encompasses mechanical and/or electrical engineering across all product lines.
- Acquire extensive knowledge in a specific technical area. Leverage prior experience and technical expertise to implement policies and strategies effectively.
- Possess a thorough understanding of essential business drivers; apply this knowledge to achieve personal objectives. Recognize how the work of the team integrates with other departments and contributes to overall success.
- Employ sound judgment and demonstrate the ability to propose alternative solutions within established guidelines, with necessary support. Utilize previous experience and on-the-job training to address straightforward challenges. Access technical skills and analytical thinking necessary for problem-solving, potentially consulting multiple internal resources outside of the immediate team.
- This role is likely to be an individual contributor with demonstrated interpersonal skills or an emerging leader capable of recruiting and nurturing talent. Provide informal mentorship to new team members.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. government clearance.
- At least 3 years of experience in the mechanical design of turbo-machinery components.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in composites engineering.
- Proven ability in team building and project management.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
- Effective communication with all organizational levels and external clients.
- Knowledge of mechanical design for PMC components and assembly methodologies.
- Robust project management skills.
- Ability to formulate strategies and execute plans with urgency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Final offers will be contingent upon the ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
