Survey Project Manager

As a Survey Project Manager at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc., you will play a key role in leading our survey practice and expanding its capabilities. This position requires comprehensive knowledge of land surveying principles and practices, as well as experience in project management, staff development, and client relations.
Responsibilities
- Technical Development: Provide technical guidance to staff, mentor Assistant Project Managers, and ensure quality control and loss prevention.
- Project Management: Oversee small to medium-sized projects, manage budgets, and coordinate work with clients and internal teams.
- Staff Development: Assist in the professional growth and development of technical staff, including completion of performance evaluations and goal setting.
- Client and Business Development: Participate in client relations, business development activities, and marketing functions within the organization.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of professional surveying experience.
- Professional Land Surveyor registration (PLS) is preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree is a plus.
- Knowledge of technological advances, principles, techniques, and practices of land surveying.
- Experience with survey project management, including proposal preparation, budget tracking, and billing review.
- Ability to speak and write professionally, provide guidance and mentoring to staff, and assist in the growth of the survey practice using marketing and networking techniques.
