PURPOSE
As a key member of our TransForce team, you will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering materials to customer sites. This role requires adherence to driver safety and compliance regulations, ensuring timely and undamaged deliveries while providing exceptional customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Load and secure products, materials, or supplies inside delivery vehicles
• Deliver customer orders to specified sites and unload materials safely and accurately
• Verify order details and maintain logs of delivery duties, including amounts, weights, mileage, and locations
• Check items against invoices to ensure order accuracy
• Act as a customer service liaison between TransForce and site customers, handling concerns and resolving issues as they arise
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of delivery vehicles and perform routine safety checks to ensure compliance with company guidelines
• Operate hand-held devices, except while driving, to ensure compliance with DVIR and HOS
• Maintain hours of service logs and pre/post trip inspection procedures
• Perform credit/product return pick-ups and related paperwork
• Operate a forklift or non-motorized material handling equipment to load and offload materials to designated areas

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
To succeed in this role, you must possess a High School Diploma or GED, be at least 21 years old, and hold a valid driver's license. Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials and delivery equipment, is desirable.
• Valid driver's license
• Pass MVR report
• Obtain a DOT medical card
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to read and speak the English language

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role requires working in a production environment, subject to temperature variations, hazardous chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noise levels, and dust. You must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds frequently and, on occasion, may be required to lift and carry, with assistance, up to 200 pounds. May be required to perform specific tasks involving climbing, lifting, pushing, or kneeling. Must be able to physically operate delivery vehicles.
