Job Summary

The Sales Associate will assist in the receiving, stocking, pricing of all merchandise and help maintain a clean and orderly merchandise presentation and overall store cleanliness. This role is responsible for providing a positive representation of Westlake Ace Hardware, assisting customers in solving problems, and ensuring all pages and calls are answered promptly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a positive representation of Westlake Ace Hardware
  • Assist customers in solving problems and answering questions
  • Ensure all pages and calls are answered promptly and effectively
  • Assist with receiving, checking in and stocking of merchandise throughout the store
  • Assist with maintaining back stock levels and daily maintenance of the sales floor, stock room and outdoor merchandise area
  • Provide assistance to Department Specialists, i.e. price changes, special orders
  • Ensure signage is current throughout the store
  • Operate forklift with proper training
Requirements
  • High School or GED equivalent
  • Formal retail experience preferred
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 25lbs) and climb
Compensation

$12.30 to $13.00 per hour
