Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA) to join our team at AP Health in Nashville, TN. As a Surgical First Assistant in the Operating Room, you will work closely with surgeons to provide top-tier care to patients. This is a full-time, non-travel position with no clinic time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Function as a Surgical First Assistant in the Operating Room
• Position and drape patients under the direction of the surgeon
• Suturing and retracting of all tissue layers
• Assist in the intra-operative care of patients by performing technical duties as assigned
• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations
• Participate in rotating on-call responsibilities

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience functioning as an orthopedic, surgical first assist
• Current national surgical assistant certification
• Active BLS and ACLS
