The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides recovery-focused services related to the safe and appropriate administration of medical treatment, including medications, as prescribed by the physician. This role involves providing safe, effective, and efficient implementation of direct care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and standards of care.
Responsibilities- Administer medications as prescribed by the physician
- Provide direct care to clients, including vital sign checks and basic medical procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement client care plans
- Monitor client progress and report any changes or concerns to the treatment team
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current knowledge and skills
- Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program and current licensure in the state of operation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
