Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct patient assessments, identify risk factors, and report concerns to registered nurses or physicians.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a psychiatric or mental health setting.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills.
