Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Computer Systems Architect with Secret Clearance to join our team in San Diego, CA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and defining system architectures for new or existing complex development networks, hardware/software installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, repair, monitoring, tuning, automation scripting, and general sustainment activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and define system architectures for new or existing complex development networks
  • Hardware/software installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, repair, monitoring, tuning, automation scripting, and general sustainment activities
  • Maintain system documentation, develop infrastructure support procedures, and provide security support
  • Work closely with engineers and technicians in a lab environment
  • Advise on integration of new emerging industry technologies to the program's systems
  • Implement engineering changes to the system as required
  • Review, analyze, and incorporate technical requirements into end-to-end system architectures
  • Responsible for completing the network configurations and coordinating with the peers, SMEs, and government engineers

Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen and must have or be able to obtain an Interim Secret/Secret clearance before starting
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in science, engineering, or related discipline with 8 years of experience; OR 6 years of relevant experience with a Masters (MS) degree OR a minimum of 3 years of experience with STEM PhD degree
  • Advance and in-depth technical knowledge of Red Hat and/or other Linux operating systems
  • Experience utilizing and working with Splunk
  • Knowledge of STIGs and STIG implementation + DNS; specifically Linux BIND
  • Scripting/Programming experience (e.g. Bash/Shell, Ansible, Python, etc.)
  • Full on-site presence at San Diego Spectrum Center campus
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time
