Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and leading our team of healthcare professionals at Grand Blanc Opco LLC. As a skilled and compassionate LPN, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering nursing care to our residents, while also supervising and guiding junior staff members and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and Provide Nursing Care: Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Supervise and Guide Staff: Direct and evaluate the work of junior staff members and CNAs, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care.
  • Administer Medications and Treatments: Accurately administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed by physicians, documenting all interactions and reactions.
  • Participate in Orientation and Training: Participate in the orientation and in-service training of new staff members, ensuring they are equipped to provide high-quality care.
  • Ensure a Safe and Clean Environment: Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and supplies are utilized efficiently.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and healthcare professionals, ensuring all needs are met and concerns are addressed.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN school of nursing.
  • Licenses/Certification: Valid LPN/LVN license in the state of employment and valid CPR certification.
  • Experience: One year of experience in nursing, preferably in a skilled nursing long-term care setting.
