Primary Care Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled primary care physician assistant to join our team in Corpus Christi, TX. As a primary care physician assistant at Optum, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to Medicare-aged individuals in a collaborative environment. Estimated Salary: $140,000 - $200,000 per year
About the Role:
• Provide primary and specialty care to patients in a collaborative environment
• Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient
• Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements:
• Certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• Current licensure through the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners or licensed Physician Assistant by the Texas State Medical Board
• Valid DEA license or ability to obtain one prior to employment
• 1+ year of clinical experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant
• Comfortable managing a primarily Medicare-aged patient population
