We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate paraprofessional to support our special education students in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metropolitan area.

As a paraprofessional, you will work closely with licensed teachers to provide academic adaptations, self-care, and social/behavioral support to students in a group or one-to-one setting.

This is a part-time position with a competitive hourly rate between $18 - $22 per hour, paid weekly. The schedule is flexible, with variable days per week based on your availability, and hours between 7:30 - 3:00/4:30 pm.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting licensed staff in the classroom
  • Aiding students in meeting their individualized education plan (IEP)
  • Maintaining a classroom environment conducive to learning
  • Working with individuals and/or small groups on activities and assignments
  • Providing support for students in crisis
  • Utilizing various learning methods to enhance student learning experiences
