Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse - Home Health

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel Registered Nurse to join our team in Arvada, Colorado. As a Travel Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes, working closely with our clients and their families to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Job Summary:

This is a 13-week contract position, with a start date of June 18, 2023. You will work 36 hours per week, with weekends rotating. The hourly pay rate is $65, with a weekly pay of $2,340. You will also receive 1.5 times overtime pay.

Responsibilities:
  • Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patient needs.
  • Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
  • Perform assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures.
  • Monitor clients' conditions, reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager.
  • Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders.
  • Perform client assessments as necessary.
  • Case management and coordination.
  • Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet.
  • Demonstrate caring and empathy.
  • Take and track vital signs.
  • Measure and administer medications as prescribed.
  • Provide wound care, as needed.
  • Provide catheter care.
  • Ensure patient is fed and bathed.
  • Ensure bedding is clean.
  • Track and order supplies.
  • Willingness to work a variety of shifts.
  • Reliable transportation to the residential setting.
  • Must feel confident providing nursing care without oversight.
  • Ability to create rapport with patient and family members.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Qualifications:
  • Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and licensed in the Commonwealth of state.
  • ADN required; BSN preferred.
  • Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
  • ACLS & BLS is required.
  • Minimum two-year RN Home Health current experience required.
