As a Computed Tomography Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Responsibilities- Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Monitor patients' responses to imaging procedures and report any concerns to radiologists or other healthcare professionals
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines
- ARRT (CT) certification
- BLS certification
- One to three years of experience as a Radiation Technologist
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals
