Job Description

The Mechanical Engineering Manager will lead the development of next generation NOVA metrology systems, working closely with a small group of mechanical engineers within the Hardware Engineering organization.

This role requires interfacing with multifunctional groups to ensure the smooth development and deployment of new product solutions and capabilities, as well as supporting ongoing product improvement and next-generation platform development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead mechanical engineering activities, from small component improvement to new platform definitions.
  • Supervise a team of mechanical engineers, assigning tasks and ensuring timely execution.
  • Interface with vendors and suppliers for product release and prototype development.
  • Oversee the workflow of the HW release process and represent Mechanical Engineering in the Hardware Change Control Board.
  • Participate in concept and detailed design work, vendor development, and supplier management.

Requirements
  • BS/MS/PhD in mechanical engineering.
  • 5+ years of management experience.
  • Experience in complex system design, vendor management, and product release.
  • Previous experience with Semiconductor Capital equipment is a plus.
