Ultrasound Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc. As a key member of our medical team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and schedule ultrasound exams to ensure seamless alignment with other patient procedures.
  • Ensure patients are comfortably positioned and safely transferred for optimal imaging.
  • Tailor technical settings based on individual patient needs for precise diagnostic results.
  • Perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, retroperitoneal, obstetric, and gynecological scans, as well as imaging for treatment planning and minor surgical procedures.
  • Assist physicians in specialized procedures such as needle biopsies and amniocentesis, providing scanning, patient marking, and procedural support.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure comprehensive documentation of examination data.
  • Operate and calibrate ultrasound equipment in accordance with physician guidance and clinical protocols.
  • Adhere to departmental policies, quality assurance programs, and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development through educational programs, in-service training, and workshops to stay current with advancements in the field.
  • Deliver courteous and cooperative service to patients, staff, and visitors, while maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to hospital guest relations standards.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of a training program in Sonography from an approved school.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) is required.
  • Current CPR certification is required.
  • Minimum of two years experience with abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, vascular, and echocardiogram is required.
