Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals. This role requires a high level of technical skill and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Responsibilities:- Prepare radioactive isotopes for administration to patients in accordance with physicians' orders and administer dosages as needed.
- Perform diagnostic studies on patients using scanners or scintillation cameras to detect radiation emitted and produce images of organs on photographic film.
- Position patients and adjust immobilization devices to ensure accurate imaging results.
- Explain procedures to patients and address their concerns in a compassionate and respectful manner.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient information utilizing computerized documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000-$90,000 per year, based on experience and location. HCA Florida Trinity Hospital offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and tuition reimbursement.
