Job Overview- Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Discipline: Allied Health Professional
The department requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in IR, with skills including scrubbing and circulating. The technologist should be proficient in various procedures such as A-grams, AV fistulograms, Ports, PICC lines, HD caths, Kyphoplastyy, Bx (U/S and CT), Drainages (paras/thoras), LPs, Myelograms, Steroid injections (joint and back), IVC filters (placement and removal), Baker cyst aspirations.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the performance of high-acuity procedures
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure patient care
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to function independently. Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required, along with current registration as R.T.(R)(ARRT & BLS).
