We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Lutheran Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Operate magnetic resonance scanners to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Select and implement appropriate imaging protocols and techniques to ensure accurate and efficient exams.
- Position patients, administer contrast agents, and perform IV punctures as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction, care quality, and workflow efficiency.
- Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
- Current ARRT (R) (MR) or NMTCB registry.
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
- At least one year of experience as a MRI Technologist in a hospital environment (preferred).
