Compensation: $19 per hour
As a vital member of our Fulfillment team, you will play a key role in connecting families with local farmers by ensuring the delivery of high-quality products. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with fellow team members to efficiently pack and prepare monthly deliveries of premium meat sourced from local farms.
This position is ideal for individuals looking to embark on a career in inventory management, warehousing, or supply chain operations. You will gain valuable experience in a warehouse setting and receive comprehensive training on operational procedures. Key Responsibilities- Collaborate on a team-based packing line in a temperature-controlled environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Utilize an electronic picking system to select pre-packaged meat products for customer orders.
- Carefully pack items into reusable containers to ensure safe transport.
- Conduct regular quality assurance checks to maintain high standards for our deliveries.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse to promote a safe working environment.
- Demonstrate sound judgment and attention to detail when addressing any issues that arise.
- Participate in cross-training initiatives to enhance your skills and advance your career.
- Experience working in a team-oriented packing environment.
- Familiarity with electronic picking systems.
- Ability to pack items efficiently and accurately.
- Commitment to quality assurance and maintaining high standards.
- Willingness to contribute to warehouse cleanliness and safety.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in cross-training opportunities within the organization.
- Experience in cashiering or bagging roles.
- Background in pick and pack operations.
- Prior warehouse experience.
- Knowledge of the food or agriculture industry.
- Experience in a temperature-regulated facility.
