About the Job:
Mobile Wellness Solutions is seeking a part-time Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team. As an independent contractor, you will have the opportunity to work with patients in their own homes, providing a unique and personalized experience.
Job Details:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for obtaining vitals, drawing blood, urine, EKGs, and medical history from patients.
- Travel to patient locations for appointments, providing a convenient and hassle-free experience.
- Paid per appointment, this is a non-hourly or salary-based position.
- Bi-weekly pay ensures timely compensation for your services.
- Some travel expenses are covered, depending on the location of the appointment.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to specified locations to obtain samples as required.
- Disinfect extraction sites using alcohol swabs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Gather mandatory information from patients and verify their identities to ensure accurate records.
- Obtain vitals, blood, urine, EKGs, and medical history from patients.
- Accurately label all samples to ensure proper identification.
- Maintain accurate patient records, detailing any medical issues experienced by patients during venipuncture procedures that may affect test results.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proven experience as a phlebotomist.
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of HIPAA/PHI law.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with excellent attention to detail and penmanship.
- Reliable transportation and computer proficiency, with internet access and a printer/scanner.
