About the Job:

Mobile Wellness Solutions is seeking a part-time Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team. As an independent contractor, you will have the opportunity to work with patients in their own homes, providing a unique and personalized experience.

Job Details:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for obtaining vitals, drawing blood, urine, EKGs, and medical history from patients.
  • Travel to patient locations for appointments, providing a convenient and hassle-free experience.
  • Paid per appointment, this is a non-hourly or salary-based position.
  • Bi-weekly pay ensures timely compensation for your services.
  • Some travel expenses are covered, depending on the location of the appointment.

Responsibilities:

  • Travel to specified locations to obtain samples as required.
  • Disinfect extraction sites using alcohol swabs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Gather mandatory information from patients and verify their identities to ensure accurate records.
  • Obtain vitals, blood, urine, EKGs, and medical history from patients.
  • Accurately label all samples to ensure proper identification.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, detailing any medical issues experienced by patients during venipuncture procedures that may affect test results.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a phlebotomist.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA/PHI law.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with excellent attention to detail and penmanship.
  • Reliable transportation and computer proficiency, with internet access and a printer/scanner.
