Veterinary Technician

We are a growing 3 doctor, AAHA accredited veterinary practice offering services to dogs, cats and exotic animals. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and a unique boutique experience for our clients.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a key member of our veterinary support staff, you will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care, assisting with medical procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.
Responsibilities- Administer medications, assist with treatments, and perform diagnostics and monitoring
- Assist with anesthesia and surgery, including prep, induction, maintenance, and recovery
- Provide patient dental care, including ultrasonic cleaning and polishing
- Position patients and assist with radiographs
- Collect, prepare, and run or submit samples for requested tests
- Prepare invoices, discharge instructions, and client informational tools
- Communicate with clients regarding hospitalized patients and provide follow-up care
- Assist with reception and front desk duties as needed
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary medicine, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Physical requirements include the ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Benefits- Competitive hourly rate: $17.00 - $26.00
- 80 hours of PTO per year, with additional hours based on years of service
