We are currently seeking a full-time Physical Therapist.
This role offers comprehensive benefits.
Key Responsibilities1. Assess available patient information and determine its relevance to the evaluation and treatment process.
2. Perform and document a comprehensive functional assessment of the patient, using standardized methodologies. Evaluate home, vocational, and equipment requirements.
3. Create and execute a personalized treatment plan tailored to the patient's needs, including attainable functional objectives.
4. Adhere to evaluation, treatment, and documentation protocols while ensuring timely and precise record-keeping.
5. Guide Assistants in treatment techniques and provide close oversight during their interactions with patients.
6. Record a progress note in the patient's file after each treatment session.
7. Adjust treatment plans as necessary throughout the course of therapy.
8. Summarize the treatment process in a clear and concise discharge report following established formats.
This job description is not exhaustive and may include additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management. Performance will be evaluated based on the completion of the responsibilities outlined herein.
Qualifications1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy.
2. Valid license in the state of practice.
3. Preferred experience in a similar setting catering to the same demographic of patients.
4. Relevant certifications and demonstrated expertise in specialized areas.
5. Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with effective interpersonal abilities.
6. Proven proficiency in the principles, techniques, materials, and equipment utilized in physical therapy.
