Overview

We are seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join our team at Bronson Behavioral Health Hospital. Our state-of-the-art, 96-bed inpatient behavioral health facility provides a safe and welcoming atmosphere for patients to find emotional stabilization and pursue healing.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical services to patients at the facility.
  • Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures.
  • Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations.
  • Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders.
  • Treat or direct treatment of patients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications.
  • Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services and information in a timely manner.
Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.
  • One or more years post graduate degree practice preferred.
  • Licensed in the state in which the facility(s) operate.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Board certification in psychiatry, Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.
