Role Summary and Qualifications
The Registered Nurse is accountable for the comprehensive nursing care of assigned patients, including oversight of support staff. This role necessitates a thorough understanding of hospital policies and nursing protocols.
Essential skills include effective communication, interpretive abilities, and management capabilities. Proficiency in written and verbal communication is critical, along with manual dexterity for various tasks.
Qualifications Required:
- Current Florida RN license or recognized compact licensure.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification, to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Neonate Resuscitation (NRP) certification, to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
- STABLE certification, to be obtained within 60 months of hire.
