- Checking fluid levels in various vehicle systems
- Monitoring tire pressure, adding coolant to radiators, and replacing oil and air filters
- Lubricating moving components with specified lubricants
- Draining and refilling oil in crankcases
- Inspecting vehicles for additional repair needs
