Optometrist Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Independent Optometrist to lease space inside our Walmart stores. As an independent lease holder, you will have the autonomy to establish your days of practice, hours of operation, patient schedule, and fee schedule.

You will take a leading role in patient care with respect to eye and vision care as well as general health and well-being.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $200,000 - $300,000 depending on experience and location.

About the Job

As an Independent Optometrist, you will be responsible for:

• Providing high-quality eye care services to patients
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with patients
• Managing a team of support staff (if applicable)
• Maintaining accurate records and reports

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school
• A valid state optometry license
• Ophthalmologist (MD or DO) degree from an accredited school (if applicable)
• A valid state ophthalmology license (if applicable)
• General Liability Certificate
• Professional Liability Insurance Certificate
• A W-9 form
