We are seeking an experienced Radiology Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in North Carolina. As a member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality nuclear medicine imaging procedures and providing exceptional patient care.
Job SummaryThis is a 13-week contract opportunity with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine nuclear medicine studies, including bone scans, gastric emptying, VQ, HIDA scans, and others
- Exercise professional judgement in performance of services and maintain a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics
- Apply appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must have:
- 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine imaging
- CNMT or R.T. (N) (ARRT) certification
- BLS certification
- Meditech experience preferred
- Electronic documentation preferred
- Teaching hospital experience preferred
- Community hospital experience preferred
The estimated weekly gross pay for this opportunity is $1,500, based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week. This rate applies to allied positions only and is subject to confirmation.
