Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Clinician to join our team at Healthy Community Health Center. As a key member of our primary care team, you will provide high-quality behavioral health services to our patients, working closely with medical providers to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide behavioral health services to patients, including counseling, assessment, and crisis management
  • Work collaboratively with primary care providers to identify and manage patients with behavioral health needs
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address patients' mental health and substance use concerns
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on mental health and wellness
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions

Requirements:

  • Current and unrestricted license to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia, to include LCSW or LPC
  • Previous experience working in a community health center environment is preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize care needs and demonstrate cognitive reasoning ability
