Job Summary

The Good Samaritan Home of Quincy is seeking a skilled Dietary Aide to support our dietary department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing therapeutic desserts and salads, serving meals in the health center pantries, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve meals in accordance with dietary orders and regulations
  • Set up and break down tables in the health center dining room(s)
  • Transport food and non-food items to and from the health center pantries
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment
  • Provide health center snacks and supplements as required
  • Maintain stock and sanitation levels in coffee and juice machines
  • Ensure orders match physician's diet orders

Requirements:

  • Ability to understand and follow instructions in English
  • Previous experience in nursing home food service preferred
  • Ability to plan, organize, and set up trays and plates in accordance with diet orders
  • Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor, and peers
