About the Role

Amergis is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in providing exceptional care to students in a school-based setting. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating students, developing and implementing individualized plans of care, and providing therapy services to promote optimal physical function and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate students to identify physical therapy needs and develop individualized plans of care
  • Provide physical therapy services, including exercises, stretches, and other interventions, to promote optimal physical function and well-being
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Document student progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner
  • Participate in peer consultation and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and evidence-based interventions
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
  • One (1) year of prior professional Physical Therapy experience preferred
  • Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice
  • Participation and completion of Amergis' Competency program when applicable
