Job Overview

As a Certified Medical Assistant Primary Care, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients in a fast-paced primary care environment. You will work closely with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient experiences, ensuring that every interaction is compassionate, personalized, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical support to providers during examinations and procedures
- Prepare patients for exams and treatments, including obtaining vital signs and medical histories
- Administer medications and injections as directed by providers
- Perform diagnostic tests, such as EKGs and spirometry
- Collect and process laboratory samples
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and processing paperwork

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited medical assisting program preferred
- 1 year of related work experience or 6 months of experience within an AdventHealth facility
- Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- CPR certification
