Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dietary Server to join our team at Hospice of the Western Reserve. As a Dietary Server, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care by serving meals and snacks to patients in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve patient meals and snacks according to dietary orders and preferences
  • Set up and break down patient traylines, ensuring a clean and safe environment
  • Transport patient trays to wings/pavilions for delivery by clinical staff
  • Prepare and deliver late trays, ensuring timely service
  • Wash pots/pans from serving line and clean and sanitize trayline equipment
  • Accurately complete all documentation as specified
  • Provide backup for menu aide, if trained, for preparation and completion of menus and tallies
Requirements
  • Minimum of one year healthcare food service experience preferred
  • Equivalent education/experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration
