Travel Speech Language Pathologist Position in Rapid City, South Dakota

This is a travel Speech Language Pathologist job opportunity in Rapid City, South Dakota. The Speech Language Pathologist will work in a hospital setting, providing therapy services to patients. The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapy interventions. The Speech Language Pathologist will also be responsible for documenting patient progress and communicating with other healthcare professionals. The Speech Language Pathologist will work 40 hours per week for 13 weeks. The Speech Language Pathologist will be required to have a valid license to practice in the state of South Dakota and to have experience working in a hospital setting. The Speech Language Pathologist will be paid a competitive salary and will have access to benefits, including paid sick leave and travel reimbursement. The Speech Language Pathologist will also have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced healthcare professionals and to develop their skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment. The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for floating to other hospitals in the area, including Spearfish and Lead-Deadwood, which are approximately 115 miles north of Rapid City. The Speech Language Pathologist will be required to have a valid driver's license and to have access to a vehicle. The Speech Language Pathologist will also be required to have experience working with electronic medical records and to have knowledge of AAC devices. The Speech Language Pathologist will be required to complete a 5-7 day orientation period, which will include training on the hospital's policies and procedures and on the use of the electronic medical records system. The Speech Language Pathologist will also be required to wear a pewter/dark grey/granite scrub color and to have free parking available. The Speech Language Pathologist will be working for Travel Nurse Across America, a company that specializes in providing travel healthcare staffing services.
