Job Title: Travel Respiratory Therapist

About the Job:

Uniti Med is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care services to patients with a variety of respiratory conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS)
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize respiratory care services

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment
  • Completion of an accredited respiratory therapy program
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed
