Warehouse Parts Packer Job Description

Grand Design RV is seeking a skilled Warehouse Parts Packer to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for packing picked orders into appropriate shipping materials, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pick tickets from carts and match parts with the corresponding part number and quantity.
  • Select the most suitable packaging method to ensure safe and secure transportation of products.
  • Assemble and pack items according to company guidelines and quality standards.
  • Label and weigh items for shipment or storage, meeting daily packaging quotas.
  • Work closely with processors and pullers to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
  • Restock packing supplies and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Assist in plant inventory and participate in quality control initiatives.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain forklift certification upon hiring.
  • Training will be provided for table saw, chop saw, pneumatic staple gun, cordless screw gun, and other equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical demands include frequent bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling, as well as lifting up to 50 pounds.
